As part of our total solution for aluminium casting, Foundry & Fabrication can arrange for your cast and machined parts to be finished with metal plating by a professional company that has over 100 years combined experience in the business.

There are a range of different metals available for plating your aluminium die castings, and most of these can be given varying finishes to help meet your specific requirements. Aluminium castings can be quite porous, so, with application of multiple plate and polish stages, these can be levelled out to provide a smooth and shiny finish.

We can also arrange for your part to be anodised, a process where – in the case of aluminium castings – part of the surface is transformed into aluminium oxide by passing electricity through the metal, increasing the wear resistance of the part and making it less susceptible to corrosion.
